Kenoja Luxury is a Detroit based brand created in 2020 by vintage lover and Detroit native, Sabrina Ellison.  While searching for skin care products to accommodate sensitive skin that is prone to over-drying, Sabrina struggled to find a product that would best suit her and her children's skin care needs. She then began to research essential oils and ingredients and found that Frankincense, Jojoba, and Shea Butter, just to name a few, were essential in curating the perfect recipe for her and her children's skin care.  As she begin to curate a recipe for this need, after use, Sabrina noticed a significant change in her children's skin and thus, begin creating the same recipe for others - that's when Kenjoa was birthed.  Each products' offers the ability cleanse the skin and lock in moisture for the skin due to the healing properties found in each item: such as Frankincense which is historically used and found in Africa and Asia.  This particular ingredient is best known for its restorative properties and its ability to reduce inflammation while improving the skin's overall texture and appearance.

FROM THE CREATOR:

Twenty years ago, I lost my brother to heart failure.  It was very devastating to our family and every year on the anniversary of his death, I could feel the loss all over again.  In 2019, instead of feeling sad for the day I decided to do something positive.  My daughter began a conversation about using natural products for her skin and I, refusing to use a $300.00 acne prescribed pre-menopause medication, got up and started researching and testing products on our skin.  I then began to utilize my family and the youth at my church to test products for three years. The results were astounding and the comments were consistently, "You need to sale".  I used the names of my three children: Kennedi, Noah and Jayden and created our company name, Kenoja.

When I am not fast at work with Kenoja and our product line,I love spending time with my husband Greg of 23 years, my children, and my church family. I enjoy shopping, styling and wearing fashionable vintage clothing on Sundays; candles, collecting black barbie dolls and decorating my home, especially my dining room table are just a few other things that bring me joy.  After being healed from self esteem (not until my 30's) I finally realized what appeals to me is taking care of myself and styling unique, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces to wear on Sundays.  I thoroughly enjoy all things lady-like and beautiful such as: flowers, pearls, fruit scents, table setting, pampering my skin, and taking care of myself which to me, exemplifies being the woman of God He's called me to be.
